Buna High School Certification Programs

             BUNA HIGH SCHOOL CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS

                       The following are programs of study that students may take.  These programs
                       lead to certifications upon graduation.

                       Welding I and Welding IIa 2-year – four credit course (taken in 11th & 12th grade)
                             
Students may receive NCCER Certification. This certification is recognized by industry.

                       Pharmacy Technology 2 semesters – Student takes state board test for Pharmacy Tech 
                               certification.

                       Health Science 1 and 2 a two year, 3 credit course (taken in 11th & 12th grade)
                               Students take a state board test for CNA certification.

                       OSHA Certification - can be received through some of our vocational classes.
            
                   Students should ask their teachers about this certification since it is required by
                               most industrial employers in our area.
